This virtual lab studies motion in a straight line at a constant speed. The lab features cars driving across a 100m field:
Which car is faster? How can you tell which car is faster just by looking at graph? What do we want to measure? Define time, displacement/distance, and velocity/speed.
Create t-charts for the red, and then the green car, showing distance traveled at 4 different times. Plot these points on paper or using desmos.
From your position v. time graphs, create velocity vs time graphs. Show how you can use your velocity vs time graphs to recreate your position graphs, provided you know the car's starting position.
